Starfish Academy Pre-school
Starfish Academy started in 2016 with two classrooms and has now grown to six, catering from Baby class up to Grade 5, taking children from the ages of 3 up to 9. We currently have capacity for 180 children.
Our wonderful Headteacher Mirriam was one of our Starfish University Students who studied Early Years teaching! We worked with her to set up the Pre-School in an area where there hasn't been a Pre-school in the past. The local children now have the chance to learn English and other subjects at an early age so that when they go to Primary School they are not disadvantaged in comparison to children from better off neighbourhoods.
