Electrical Engineer
Christian, aged 21 years, studied for 2 years at Mufulira Technical Training Institute for a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
His father died when he was just 2 years old, and his mother lives in one of the poorest compounds in a one-roomed house.
He has sent to us a note of appreciation for his support from Starfish :

A technical study group from Mufulira visited the Indeni petroleum refinery in Ndola – Zambia’s largest oil refinery. The 13 member group consisted of members and students from Mufulira Technical Training Institute (MTTI).
The objective of the study tour was to provide members with the opportunity to exchange experiences with their counterparts for the working contingent, and to enrich appreciation of automation, instrumentation and control processes for the students.
